achieved international quality standards like ISO 9001 and SEI-CMM Level 5.
In addition, it uses world-class Six Sigma methodologies to facilitate process
improvements. Below are the key milestones in Conseco India Quality journey:
ISO-9001:1994 Certification
Conseco India began its Quality journey with the ISO-9001:1994 certification by DNV
in May, 2000. It's focus on Quality is also reflected on
annual surveillance audits done by DNV throughout all these years.
SEI-CMM Level 5
As a part of the continuous process improvement initiatives Conseco India has been
assessed at SEI-CMM Level 3 in May 2001 under Capability Maturity
Model-Software (CMM-SW), instituted by the Software Engineering Institute
(SEI), Carnegie Mellon University, USA and SEI-CMM level 5 in July 2003.
SEI-registered Lead Assessors from KPMG, using the SEI-CMM (SW) Version 1.1,
conducted these assessments.
ISO 9001:2000 Certification
To meet the latest trends in Quality standards, Conseco India got certified
with ISO 9001:2000 International Standards in October 2003. The certification
by DNV was granted after an intensive audit at both the units of Conseco India.
